About Eccentric Executioners

Growing up in rural Manitoba, brothers Karl and Will Simmons learned early that making things wasn’t just a hobby — it was a way of life. At four years old, Karl picked up his father’s bandsaw (incident free, miraculously) and stepped into the lifelong practice of building, tinkering, and creating. Will was never far behind. Together, they discovered that ideas can be wild and free, but true craft comes from years of hard work, skill, and learning to put the tools back where they belong.

Their childhood was shaped by travel with their father, Canadian entertainer Al Simmons, whose touring life exposed them to a world of artists, inventors, and dreamers. From backstage prop building to running sound and lights, Karl and Will grew up surrounded by creativity on the move — and that spirit of invention has stuck with them ever since.

Today, Eccentric Executioners Ltd. is the natural extension of those roots. With more than 35 years of combined Red Seal carpentry experience, plus a deep command of digital design and fabrication, Karl and Will have built a studio that can handle nearly anything — from handcrafted timber structures to CNC-machined components, from custom furniture to full-scale interactive installations.

Eccentric Executioners isn’t just a workshop. It’s a hub where artistry, engineering, and sheer curiosity collide. Whether it’s traditional carpentry, 3D modeling, or building machines that didn’t exist until they imagined them, Karl and Will bring the same philosophy to every project: make it precise, make it beautiful, make it unforgettable.
